Quiet, Quest, Questions
I was quiet about my quest
My quest to find love
My quest to find peace
My quest to find happiness
My quest to find acceptance
Too quiet
I shut out that still small voice
I did not ask questions
Questions that would guide me
Questions that would protect me
Questions that would show me
Questions that would grow me
Too quiet

Hear, hear! I am asking so many questions all the time, every day, and life is so much better (if sometimes more overtly frustrating) than it was in my mostly-unquestioning days.

Thank you Deborah! Better to know and understand than be led blindly (even if sometimes more overtly frustrating), right? 😊

Yes! No frustration short term is not worth even more frustration long term. 🙂

I’m reminded that I after the rebound from hell, I promised myself to do a background check on any future boyfriends BEFORE I got attached. When I told this to my last boyfriend he said, “Do you want my social security number?” I said yes, and he gave it to me without hesitation. We asked each other a LOT of questions before we got married. No questions were off the table.

That exactly what I do now! LOL I even had a conversation with my younger sister that she needed to do it with anyone that she is interested in dating.

I have been so quiet lately it’s freaking me out. But, it’s OK too. Yes, the questions are running around in my head.
